Monique graduates from Valencia HS

Monique Graduated! From the start of the morning, to the end of the night, I was an emotional wreck! My Moko... I never thought the day would come when I would be picking out her Graduation outfit. Even just the thought of not taking her to school every morning or even picking her up, was hard to deal with. I know that I will survive and I probably sound crazy..especially cause I've complained all year about having drive so so so much... but, I love this little beautiful person so much, i'm gonna miss our car rides and her buying my red bull at lunch and just looking forward to seeing her after not seeing her all morning! I'm so proud of Monique. She has truly become such a young lady. She is such a Lady..which I find to be such a compliment! Her decisions in life and her association with people have guided her to become such a responsible, smart, funny, loveable, person. I just love her so much!
So, the day started off with me taking pictures...tons of them. She ironed her clothes ...the ones she was gonna wear to her grad rehearsal. We then rushed to drop her off, which didn't go so well cause miss Monique didn't have a clue to where she was suppose to be dropped off. We ended up meeting up with her great friend Daphne at the gas station instead. I got so emotional when she left with  Daphne because it hit me so hard that she was Graduating that day!! I just thought of how little she once was and how she use to call me all the time when she was younger. We have always had this closeness that I can not describe. All's I know is that we have a close bond that is unbreakable. Anywho, when she left, I ran all over Santa Clarita trying to finish up my last minute errands. I ended up picking her up after and revealed to her the dress and heals I had bought for her to wear at her graduation. I was glad that she loved it.The day went by faster then I had imagined. Before I knew it, She was walking to her seat. The ceremony was beautiful. The VHS choir sang I believe I can fly. The parents ..which happened to be me and Andres, were applauded...and I felt so honored! I helped in raising my Monique. :) It felt surreal when she was walking to receive her diploma. All I remember is me screaming at the top of lungs- woooohooooo!
