This was a hard day for me. First off...time flies! literally! I can still remember the day that I was in the bathroom taking a pregnancy test and I ran out to tell Andres that we were pregnant! We were so excited. words can not describe the feeling that personally went through me. Then on my first ultra sound visit.. we found out we were having twins...TWINS! We planned for one..but two. It was funny...funny because my husband and I couldn't stop laughing! We were so astonished. Who has twins...hmm..I guess I did..haha. My great great Grandmother on my mothers side was a twin. So we were to prepare for Identical twin girls. We had thought through out the pregnancy that they were in one sac. Turned out the day I was to deliver, That they were in two sacs and one placenta. They were born early due to the toxemia I was diagnosed with the same day. It was a crazy day.. I was not fully prepared. My baby shower was a week away and so Andres and I had to buy their car seats that same day. I was admitted to Pomona Valley Hospital, in Pomona. I wanted to deliver in this hospital because my family lived near by and I knew they would be my support system through this joyful experience. I delivered my girls C section. Gabriella Marie Tapia(baby A) weighed in at 4lbs 4oz. and Annabella Celeste Tapia (baby b) weighed in at 4lbs. My girls were born at 34 1/2 wks. I love them so much and Andres and I are truly blessed every day to have them. They bring so many smiles to our lives:)
Their ceremony started off with a play. My girls were in the yellow. They sang songs about the rainforest.. that involved all sorts of animals.
These are some pics from the slide show.....
